Sölden (diz-se Selden) é uma das muitas belas estações de esqui da Áustria. Fica no Tirol, na fronteira com a Alemanha a uma altitude de 1368 metros e tem uma porção elevada, Hochsölden, com 2090 metros. Apesar da escassez de neve nos últimos anos em toda a região alpina, Sölden tem pistas elevadas e fica aos pés do Wildspitze, um pico de 3768 metros, que é o segundo mais alto do país. Há belos mirantes como o da foto e sua população quintuplica no inverno. A estrutura hoteleira é ampla e inclui hotéis de alto luxo.
Sölden (pronounced Soelden) is one of the many beautiful ski stations in Austria. It is located in Tirol, near the boarder with Germany, at an altitude of 1368 metres and also has an elevated piece, Hochsölden, with 2090 metres. Despite the lack of snow in the past years in the whole of the alpine region, Sölden has elevated ski tracks at the bottom of Wildspitze, a peak of 3768 metres, the second highest in the country. There are beautiful observatories like the one in the picture, and during high season, the population quintuples. The hotel structure is large and includes luxury hotels.
